Chameleon

Chameleon is a CA-based band that does exactly what the name suggests, adapts. On any given night, you might hear the soulful slow burn of the blues, the swagger of classic rock, the hypnotic groove of funk, the breezy lilt of reggae, or the raw energy of modern hits. Many-times all in the same set.

Built on a foundation of over 90 combined years of playing experience Chameleon brings together multi-instrumentalists Jason who commands lead guitar, Andrew and Tyler who drive the rhythm sections covering interchangeable bass and drums, and keyboardist Matt. Three of the four also sing, giving the band a vocal depth that matches their musical range.

Named after a jazz-fusion classic, the band's identity is baked into their philosophy: there is no single sound here, only the next great song. Whether they're locking into a late-night blues groove, tearing through a funk breakdown, or dropping a song everyone in the room knows every word to, Chameleon shows up ready to play anything, and make it their own.

Based in the suburbs of Sacramento, CA and proud of it, the band is bringing something the local music scene doesn't always get: seasoned players who genuinely love every genre they touch.
